Today I went to
Bar Spek. Close to not one of the nicest areas you can find a lovely spacious place with outside area facing a canal. The food looked lovely (pizzas, meat platters) and I cursed having had lunch. My friend had french fries and they were really home made and delicious. I tried the green monster juice which was almost a meal in itself! And what is in a Green Monster? No, it's not Lady Gaga dressed as Wicked Witch of the West! Here is the recipe:
-Half a cucumber
-1 Granny Smith
-Half an avocado
-A handful of spinach
-A handful of basil
-A teaspoon of Spirulina
Juice the cucumber and apple. Pour the juice into a blender with all the other ingredients and blend together.
