Last Thursday I went with a couple of friends to "A la Ferme". A French restaurant in the De Pijp area, more specificaly on Govert Flinckstraat. The food was delicious. We went for the 3 course menu of the day and a lovely Bordeaux.
-amouse bouche of vichysoise soup and pate
-thin sliced roast pork with a finely chopped potatoes with a creamy sauce on the side
-duck with mashed potatoes (see photo - AMAZING!!!)
-dessert: profiterole with mascarpone, poached pear and vanilla ice-cream (photo)
