On the 4th September
Vogue's Fashion Night Out took place in Amsterdam. Various streets were part of it and I decided to go to
P.C.Hooftstraat to check it out. This street is well known for its high end fashion shops so definitely the most appropriate home for this event! Almost all the shops were open, the DJs provided music, champagne in almost all the shops (Moet, Veuve) and the people provided the ambiance. It was really nice to go into all those shops I wouldn't necessarily walk into and check the clothes and accessories. It was busy and buzzing but not too much that you couldn't move. Absolutely perfect. The detailed
report on Vogue's website is short but clear and all you need to do is get it to googletranslate. I left dreaming about a Burberry's trench coat but with a very big smile and new bag. Indeed yours truly was the winner of an absolutely gorgeous
Hugo Boss Berlin bag. Looks like 102 was the lucky number that night! Also Hermes had a nice set up in which you'd get on a bike wearing a scarf, got videoed for a few seconds and then got a small booklet of the video that you can flick through really quickly so it looks like you are watching the video!
