New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve from the Hilton Skylounge. I have seen fireworks on all sorts of occasions, evens, I have seen London's NYE but Amsterdam, this is fireworks at a whole another level. In order to get a place you have to get to the Skylounge quite early (like, before 8pm for sure) because they don't take bookings. There weren't too many people there which meant there was plenty of space to be with people and not feel like you're in a can of sardines. You get the best view of Amsterdam so even though you don't get the best view of the official fireworks at the Scheepvaartmuseum (Maritime Museum) you get to see whole of Amsterdam exploding!
